TODAY’S TOPIC: Live Coverage of Pitch Madness #PitMad
Q: What day is it?
A: It’s Wednesday. Hump Day. Great day for talking books. The people who write them, the people who read them, and everyone in between.
Last week’s Hump Day Post provided details about the Pitch Madness #PitMad event that’s happening live today on Twitter. #PitMad is a Twitter party, held four times per year. During the #PitMad Twitter party, authors pitch completed manuscripts to agents and publishers for twelve hours (8am to 8pm EST/New York).
Want to watch the action? See how it works? I’ve embedded a #PitMad search into today’s post so you can watch it live from my book blog.
NOTE: I suggest you read Use Twitter to Find an Agent/Publisher with Pitch Madness #PitMad (March 4, 2015) before interacting with this Twitter hashtag today. There are rules and guidelines everyone must follow and I’ve spelled them all out in that post.
